Class Descriptions

All classes offer modifications to postures and movements to honor each student’s practice levels and needs.  Props are provided for all classes and students of all levels to assist in proper alignment of postures.  The use of props builds strength and awareness of each pose, engages the body, allowing students to eventually hold poses and postures on their own, if so desired.

Core Flow-Yoga

Sure we all know the knee bone is connected to the thigh bone…But do we know all of the muscle groups that make up our entire core? Most don’t.  In this class we will focus on just that… the entire core, not just the superficial “six pack abs”, because our core is made up of so much more.  In this all levels class students will focus on movements and postures that will help to create a stronger, more stable core.  Benefits of a stronger core may include, increased mobility, improved balance and posture, and decreased back pain.

Some core flow classes may be plank intensive, meaning students may spend longer periods of time in plank positions bearing weight on their wrists and hands. Modifications are offered to accommodate, as well as periods of rest and varying wrist exercises.  Please review class schedule specific descriptions.

Class time 30-60 Minutes

Flexibility Flow- Yoga

Vinyasa Flow- Yoga

A stronger flow, this class is more suited for students with a regular yoga practice. During this vinyasa flow class, students flow through different postures, linking breath with movement, building on strength, and flexibility, connecting body and mind.

Each vinyasa flow class will have a varying concentration, class focus and any required props will be provided at the beginning of each practice.

Class time 60 minutes

Modifications are offered for all classes to accommodate student practice levels, and needs.
