Class Description:
VRCC Yoga For Athletes Practicing yoga after a workout alleviates overall tension, expands blood flow, allowing fresh oxygen, energy and nutrients to your muscles. How you stretch matters too, breathing slowly, and deepening your inhalations and exhalations as you do in yoga, oxygenates your blood to energize your body as it quiets your mind. Focusing on breathing, allows us to stretch and strengthen our muscles in a more mindful way, moving with intention, body and breath in connection with one another. Props will be provided
